About OSHA Violations Tracker

OSHA Violations Tracker is a free, independent search engine for U.S. workplace safety records. We aggregate official OSHA inspection, citation, accident, and penalty data from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration via the DOL Open Data Portal — without a paywall, login, or marketing email collection.
Why we built this
OSHA publishes enforcement records, but the official search interfaces are clunky and don’t rank in regular search engines. Job seekers, contractors, and concerned employees deserve a fast way to look up an employer’s safety record. OSHA Violations Tracker unifies inspection, violation, accident, and penalty data into a single searchable index.
What we cover
- Inspections — every OSHA inspection opened in the last 5 years
- Violations — citations issued during each inspection, classified by type
- Accidents — workplace incidents reported to OSHA
- Penalties — current assessment totals per employer
How we stay current
We sync with the DOL Open Data Portal daily. New inspections and citations typically appear in our index within 24-72 hours of being filed.
What we don’t do
We do not issue inspections or citations. We have no relationship with any employer. We are not affiliated with OSHA, the DOL, or any government agency. For official enforcement actions or to file a complaint, contact OSHA directly.
